Written (typed) by the Secretary of State in 1908: "In accordance with House bill #1083, approved Aug. 6th, 1907, there is appropriated for the furnishing and equipping certain offices and departments in the State Capitol...." The provisions of this bill are then further described by stating which of the officers and their offices will receive furniture and equipment. This correspondence then lists the beneficiaries and the amount each will receive in accordance with House bill no. 1083. This series also contains the description of the bids (what equipment, etc. each office is bidding for) and plans specifying where the furniture, etc. is to be placed.
